'The shadows created from the compositions become almost as important as the objects, allowing the boundary of the physical form to extend into the space around.'

'We are able to hear a single tone.
But we almost never (that is, without special devices)
see a single color
unconnected and unrelated to other colors.
Colors present themselves in continuous flux, constantly related to
changing neighbors and changing conditions.
-
Joseph Albers,'

I like Roberta's use of light and shadow I feel without this strategy that her work would not be as visually affective to the viewer. her use of colour makes her work pop and also gives it a child like touch.
I think Laura would benefit from this artist as her work is playful and full of childlike memories also these pieces remind me of rocks much like hers.
